Apparently either way it's not boosting sales. Although several are having quite a laugh.

And... I laughed at the "whitens her teeth, but tells filthy jokes" ad. I whiten my teeth too, so I can relate to that. And I love a good curse word!
I think ads are rarely the causation or effector of the sales numbers. Those indicators have have more to do with the quality of the Journal.
Do you think tooth whitening is a modern form of penitence? Explain.
